My tutoring philosophy is that I am given a special opportunity to teach my student, and because all students learn differently, it is my job to learn how they learn best and to teach them that way. Whether it is teaching grammar to a student who learns with their hands, or to students who learn just fine with lectures, one-on-one tutoring is a time for the student to learn how they learn best.

As a former professor of Katherine's, try her out. She is creative, tenacious, intelligent, perseverant, and a go-getter! She is full of good ideas and best of all a genuinely nice person.
This is in no way a request by her for an ad-hoc recommendation. Katherine didn't ask for it... but she deserves it!

CWUKatherine tutored my twin boys in writing last school year and she was a savior! She’s so attentive to her students and explains materials in an easily comprehensible way. She has the perfect balance between guiding her students and giving them space to confidently make their own informed decisions. I highly recommend her as a tutor!
Katherine is a sweetheart! She is kindhearted, patient and knowledgeable in her subject. She does her best to tailor the experience to each and every student, and is a wonderful listener. I met her in a university setting, and would recommend her especially if you need concepts explained in multiple ways.
