About Sean
I am a calm, patient teacher with knowledge on a wide range of topics. I have a Master’s degree in TESOL, a 160 hour tefl certificate, a level 2 CRLA tutoring certificate, and 10 years of experience tutoring people like you, people dedicated to improving their English communication and becoming a clearer and more confident English speaker.
My specialties lie in conversational English, English speaking skills, and American English pronunciation. So whether you want to be able to understand and tell jokes with your coworkers or speak more naturally during a presentation, I have the skills and experience to get you there.

I create a relaxed, fun, atmosphere where adult English learners can build their confidence and take their time and get comfortable speaking English.
All my lesson materials and methodology are created by me so it easy to modify and shape them to your needs. We look at your first language and areas that speakers of that language typically have and address it directly.
Generally, lessons focus on two areas :Target sounds and Intonation/rhythm. Within these lessons we practice vocabulary using the target sounds, common idioms and phrases, and difficult sound combinations and how to transition between sounds to make it more comfortable.
I specialize in teaching adults B1-C2 who know enough grammar and vocabulary to have a conversation, but don't feel confident in their speaking skills for one reason or another.
