About Yousef
Hi, I’m Yousef, a Software Engineer and Master’s graduate in Computer Science from the University of Leeds. With 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, I’ve built a strong foundation in coding, problem-solving, and real-world applications. Why I Teach: I’m passionate about teaching because I believe everyone should have the opportunity to learn how to code. It’s an incredibly powerful skill that opens up so many doors, whether you're a beginner or aiming to level up your career. I’ve been tutoring for years, including as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Salford, where I helped first-year students navigate complex topics in programming and computer science. What Drives Me: What drives me to teach is students grow and enjoy programming like I do. I aim to make learning fun, engaging, and practical, so students can see how what they’re learning connects to the real world. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your skills, I’m here to help you reach your goals! My Personal Activities: On my personal time, I enjoy: Developing software to assist friends Creating websites Developing video games Tutoring & freelancing Contributing to open-source software
