About Madiha
Over many years of teaching and experimenting with a huge variety of different teaching methods, I’ve reached the conclusion that it all depends on the individual skills and abilities of the child. There’s really no ‘one size fits all’ approach, in my view. I take my cues from the students themselves. This is not an easy way to go as you may have a class of 22 students with quite mixed abilities and a good teacher makes every effort to cater to every single one of them.

In my experience, the most effective way to teach children English is to firstly determine the learning method that best suits the child. For example, there are a number of ways to teach children to read in English. Some children respond very well to the phonics approach and learn to read through sounding out individual words.
