About Michael
I am from a small town in southwest Missouri and I have settled up here in Kansas City, Missouri with my wonderful wife and children. I am a Navy Veteran, graduating from the Naval Nuclear Power program with a 3.78 GPA and serving this great country for 6 years. I left the military and used my benefits to get my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. I am now working on my PhD in Physical Chemistry and hope to be done within the next 3 years. As a passionate tutor with a Master's in Chemistry and strong expertise in Math and Physics, my approach centers on making complex STEM concepts accessible, engaging, and applicable to real life. For example, in Chemistry, I break down abstract ideas like molecular structures using diagrams and real-world analogies. In Math and Physics, I emphasize step-by-step problem-solving with tools like whiteboards or shared screens to visualize equations and graphs.
