About Aishat

Hi! I’m Aishat, a dedicated tutor with several years of experience working closely with children and youth in both educational and community settings. My passion for teaching grew naturally from the time I’ve spent mentoring children — especially those who need extra encouragement, structure, or someone who believes in them. Over the years, I’ve learned how to explain concepts in simple, relatable ways and how to create a calm learning environment where kids feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. I specialize in helping students strengthen their foundational skills in Math, English, and Science, and I focus on making learning fun, engaging, and stress-free. Whether your child is catching up, needs homework support, or wants to build stronger study habits, I’m committed to meeting them right where they’re at and helping them grow at their own pace. I truly enjoy seeing kids develop confidence and pride in their abilities — that’s what inspires me to teach.

About the lesson

I use a patient, child-centered approach focused on building strong foundations and confidence. I explain concepts step-by-step, use real-life examples, and adapt my methods to each student’s learning style.

I combine simple explanations, visuals, guided practice, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make learning clear, engaging, and stress-free for young students.

Excellent! Aishat has been assisting my 11 year old son with areas in math that he has difficulties with. Since working with Aishat he has been more confident in math. This tutor comes prepared with visual supports to assist him in learning. In our first meet and greet session she was interested in what kind of learner my son is (audio, visual ect.) and I think that was an important aspect for her to know in order for her to better understand how she can best tutor my son for his success.
