My approach to tutoring is structured, student-centred, and results-oriented. I begin by assessing each student's current understanding, academic goals, and areas that require improvement. Based on this, I design a personalised learning approach aligned with the relevant IGCSE or A-Level syllabus.
Lessons focus on building strong conceptual foundations while consistently applying knowledge to examination-style questions.
My teaching approach includes:
-Clear and step-by-step explanations of complex concepts
-Visual aids, diagrams, and relevant examples to support understanding
-Application-based and data-analysis questions
-Guidance on interpreting command words and examination requirements
-Practice with structured and exam-style questions
-Mark scheme alignment to help students understand how to earn marks effectively
-Personalised feedback and strategies to improve examination performance
My goal is to help students understand, apply, and communicate scientific knowledge confidently, while developing the skills needed to achieve their academic goals.
