About Jackson
I am an aspiring physicist. I have given math lessons before and have had great success, but have had no formal training. I one-on-one tutored my best friend in precalculus/trigonometry, boosting his C- to an A. I am confident that I can not only help your grade, but also your understanding and appreciation of the topic. I have research experience in astronomy so I understand the applications of math.

I like to run through examples that illustrate the breadth of the topic. I want my fellow students to learn how to think about the topic. Memorizing equations and results are boring and not productive. Instead, the student will learn why certain relations are true and how to expand on their learning.

I was failing my physics class until I got help from Jackson. He was very calm and patient with me and always made sure to be on time. He helped bring my grade up and made me feel a lot more confident in my other physics classes. He helped my confidence so much.
Jackson was a good friend during high school for me, and I trusted enough to ask him to help me through precalculus and trig. He was very knowledgeable about any topic that I brought to him, and helped me through the assignments and what to study for the tests. Jackson is an easy to get along with tutor.
Jackson is one of the brightest and most earnest students and scholars I have had the pleasure of knowing and working with. Our relationship at Indiana University began over 2 years ago and he quickly gained my confidence and trust as I watched how he was able to easily comprehend and then explain difficult concepts. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
