About Elyssa
I am a highschool graduate from Coquitlam, currently taking a year away from University but will return to complete my BSc next Fall. I've awlways known I like math and science (specifically physics) so when the opportunity came to take those courses in highschool, I was beyond excited. Each student is different and prefers their own way of learning so I always do my best to cater to the students needs. I usually ask ahead of the tutoring session if there are any subjects/units/tests the student is particularily struggleing with so we can work on that. I have an assortment of drill sheets, word problems, math/science games and more for other styles of learning. I am encouraging yet focused, it imortant that the student feels heard but its equally as important that we get the work done.
