About Kiet
Hi, I’m Kiet, and I’m passionate about helping students excel in mathematics. With hands-on experience as a Teaching Assistant at Queen’s University and a strong background in math — from high school topics like algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus to more advanced university-level concepts — I thrive on making complex ideas approachable. I believe every student has the potential to succeed with the right support and guidance. My approach is all about fostering confidence and independent thinking. I tailor each lesson to fit individual learning styles, break down challenging concepts step-by-step, and encourage students to ask questions and engage deeply with the material. Whether you’re strengthening fundamentals or aiming to achieve top grades, I’m here to help you reach your goals. Let’s make math your strength!

My approach to tutoring focuses on building a deep understanding of core mathematical concepts while fostering confidence and independent thinking. I emphasize tailoring my methods to each student’s unique needs, breaking down complex topics like algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and calculus into manageable steps. I use relatable examples and encourage students to articulate their thought processes to reinforce learning and identify areas needing further attention. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to develop problem-solving skills they can carry forward.
What sets me apart is my passion for sharing knowledge and my commitment to creating a supportive, encouraging environment. I strive to make math approachable by adapting to different learning styles and maintaining patience throughout the learning process. Whether working with high school students preparing for exams or those aiming to strengthen their foundation, I focus on helping students build lasting confidence and reach their full potential.
