About Amelia

I am a dedicated and results-driven mathematics tutor with a proven track record of helping students build confidence and achieve meaningful academic improvement. I have supported over 25 students in strengthening their understanding of mathematics, many of whom have gone on to significantly improve their grades and self-belief.

With a strong academic background as a two-time Dux, a 96 ATAR graduate, and an A-grade student with top marks, I bring both subject expertise and firsthand experience of high academic performance. More importantly, I am passionate about helping students develop true understanding. I take the time to break down complex concepts, address individual learning gaps, and adapt explanations to suit each student’s learning style.

My approach is patient, structured, and encouraging, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and tackling areas they previously found challenging. I am committed to professionalism, clear communication, and helping every student feel capable and confident in their mathematical ability.

About the lesson

- If you are looking for a tutor who is fantastic at helping students go from confused to confident, I'm the right fit for you!
- I create personalised lessons to cater to the specific needs of my students. I address my students' weak areas through explanation with examples and practice for student's to deepen their understanding and application.
- A typical lesson lasts 1-2hours depending on client needs.
- My teaching methodology involves spaced repetition, where in weekly sessions I do a quick review of past concepts with students to promote deeper encoding into memory.
- Helped 20+ students with 5 years of exceptional tutoring experience
- So if you're ready to boost your scores and reach your academic potential this year, I'm the tutor for you!

Amelia is an outstanding tutor who really helped me with my algebra skills and linear equations. I had no clue what I was doing before, but with Amelia's help and guidance, I went from getting 50s to 80s on my tests! I am so grateful to have had her, she is really great at breaking the problem down and helping me practice.
