About Abrianna
Hi, I am Abrianna, and I am going to be a senior in High School this year. I know it might sound young but I am about 20 credits away from earning my associate's degree and am planning on becoming a teacher within the next 2-3 years. I have been taking peer coaching classes with a 9th-grade algebra class and it has given me a chance to interact with kids who need more help grasping the curriculum. I have learned how to form bonds with my students and help them to understand problems better after some one on one with them.

The way I like to teach is by walking them through a worksheet over the topic step by step, then giving them their own to try. This is what I learned from my peer coaching teacher. Some students picked up on it really fast and were able to go off on their own; however, those who needed a little more guidance were able to stay and finish listening to the explanation and take notes on their worksheet. If when they start on the second worksheet they need more help I have no problem walking them through a couple more questions or finding different ways to explain how to solve the problems.
