About Thomas
I have a Bachelor's of Science from the University of Minnesota Twin-Cities where I was on the Dean's List and conducted research in machine learning and artificial intelligence for all four years of my undergraduate career. In the Fall of 2021, I will be a graduate student at Stony Brook University studying applied mathematics. I have been a peer tutor in both high school and college for Calculus I and II, and have also tutored for Linear Algebra, introductory analysis courses, and programming (Python and C++). I am enthusiastic about teaching and have the end goal of becoming a professor at a research university.

I offer mathematics lessons and tutoring for all mathematics areas up to Calculus I and Calculus II as well as Linear Algebra. Tutoring sessions will be conducted over zoom (unless we are in the same location; in this case, I am willing to do it in person). We will share screens to discuss the problems, then I will work the problem out or help you through the problem, and then save the notes from our session and send them to you for reference. I also like to give external resources such as articles and videos from excellent resources I have personally used. If the tutoring service will be used for younger students (Elementary/early middle), I am also willing to put together a full curriculum (I prefer the Singapore and Mammoth Math curriculums).
