About Merbey

I’m passionate about helping students feel more confident in math. I’m known for being a calm, patient, and understanding tutor who takes time to guide students step by step.

I believe that every student can learn math with the right support and explanation. That’s why I focus on creating a comfortable and positive learning environment where students feel safe to ask questions and learn at their own pace.

I always aim to make lessons clear, simple, and encouraging so students can truly understand the concepts and not feel overwhelmed

About the lesson

Hi! I’m a BS Mathematics graduate with 6 years of tutoring experience, helping students understand math from basic concepts up to calculus. My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and focused on step-by-step learning so students don’t feel overwhelmed.

In my lessons, I guide students to not just get the answer, but to understand why and how it works. I always encourage them to explain their thinking, which helps build real understanding and confidence. Many of my students often say “oh, I get it now,” which is something I always aim for in every session.

A typical lesson includes reviewing concepts, solving problems together, and practicing independently with guidance. I adjust my teaching based on each student’s pace and learning style to make sure everything is clear.

My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel supported, confident, and motivated to improve
