About Oleksandra

Hi, I’m Sasha, a Mathematics Masters student at the University of Bristol. I really love maths and I aim to inspire confidence in others through my lessons :) I have been tutoring all throughout my Bachelor's and Master's, and am now looking for new students.

About the lesson

I have years of experience tutoring students through their GCSE and A-Level Maths, and I can also offer tutoring in A-Level Further Maths and GCSE Statistics. Additionally, I am familiar with specialised assessments like the UK Maths Challenge, MAT, and TMUA entrance exams. I am patient and practical, focusing on clear worked examples followed by trying it yourself. I aim to build both confidence and intuition in my students, and I typically do one-hour sessions, though I am happy to adapt the lesson length and frequency.

I know Sasha as a fellow Mathematician on my Master's programme. She is an enthusiastic and hard-working person that often helps others on the course. I have seen what a strong teacher she is first hand as she is always the first to explain things to her peers when we are stuck, and does so clearly and kindly. Most of all she is a very approachable person, skilled at making you feel comfortable and that any question you have is valid. This makes her a wonderful tutor!

Oleksandra is a peer at university. She is a careful and attentive listener who will make sure you feel comfortable in your studies. We have worked through problems together where she has helped thoroughly explain topics I didn’t understand. Strongly recommend as a tutor.
