I will repost my CV here. It is very comprehensive. It has details about my specific teaching and tutoring experience, as well as my general mathematics education experience and training. In it, you will see that I am professionally certified to teach high school mathematics in New York State. You will also see that I have taught at the following levels: elementary school (grade 5), middle school, high school, and college. In tutoring, I have covered an even wider age group of students, as young as 4 years old (homeschooling) and as old as middle age.

About the lesson

I have over 20 solid years tutoring or teaching mathematics. I first taught algebra to my sister who was two years ahead of me in high school. Since that time, I have worked with students in many learning contexts, including tutoring teachers who were preparing for their teacher certification. I have had great success rates, including the success of students who were never passed a major mathematics assessment at their school level before I became their tutor or teacher.

My lessons are tailored to the needs and abilities of my students. I am constantly thinking and rethinking mathematics teaching methodologies. I reflect much on my work and effectiveness.

I also have much experience contributing in my own way to mathematics education as a field.
