About Amirul

Hi, I’m Amirul!

A First Class Honors graduate in Economics with A* grades in IGCSE Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. As an MRSM graduate, I also mentored a group of five students across multiple subjects.

I want to make Math easy to understand and fun for children aged 7–12, using clear explanations and engaging activities to build confidence and curiosity.

I offer online and in-person lessons around Shah Alam, in English and Malay.

About the lesson

Helping Your Child Feel Confident With Maths

I’m an Economics graduate with a passion for Maths, offering personalized lessons for children aged 7–12 in Shah Alam. My goal is to help your child:

✓ Build a strong foundation in Maths.
✓ Feel more confident tackling questions.
✓ Enjoy learning and applying Maths in everyday life.
✓ Work towards better results at school.

First Lesson

A friendly assessment helps me understand your child’s strengths and learning needs, covering:

✓ Number skills: Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
✓ Key topics: Fractions, decimals, measurement and shapes, depending on their level.
✓ Word problems: Understanding questions and solving them step by step.

How I Teach

✓ Tailor lessons to your child’s level and pace.
✓ Break tricky topics into simple, manageable steps.
✓ Use everyday examples to explain concepts.
✓ Share useful tips and tricks, explaining why they work.
✓ Include revision, guided practice and independent questions.

What Your Child Can Expect

✓ A patient, encouraging space to ask questions.
✓ Support with school topics and areas they find difficult.
✓ Small, achievable goals to build confidence.
✓ Encouragement to learn from mistakes and check their answers.
