About Andy

Hello, I am a son of two mathematicians with an A Level in Mathematics, attaining my certificate a year early. I currently teach in-person or online via Zoom or Skype, but am open to other platforms if you prefer this.

About the lesson

I have a firm belief that mathematical principles lie at the heart of everything we see in the world around us. I can show you how they can be understood and applied by virtually anybody - these skills are increasing in importance for people to function day-to-day, whether it’s running your business, comparing energy providers, or cooking a roast dinner!

Andy has rebuilt my confidence to learn a musical instrument. I have been learning bass guitar with Andy for some weeks and he has already helped me find my way around the fretboard. Highly recommended.

Andy is an excellent guitar and piano teacher to my son William. He is very current and makes the lessons enjoyable but structured! He has been great online during the COVID pandemic as well. Thanks Andy.

Andy makes piano/guitar so fun for my children. He boosts their confidence by having a good balance of encouragement and motivation. My children look forward to their weekly lessons and have made great progress since Andy started teaching them.

Andy has been tutoring my children for just under a year and they thoroughly enjoy their sessions with him. Andy is friendly, reliable and always positive, encouraging and approachable.
He is flexible in his approach and will adapt lessons according to what the children ask to be taught. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Very good instructor with clear and concise tutoring. Has taken me from a complete beginner to a fairly capable player on both the bass and electric guitar in a relatively short space of time.
