About Joshua
I completed my Bachelor's in BSc Mathematics & Statistical Science at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in 2019, having also received a bursary from Truworths Ltd in 2018 and 2019. I have been tutoring since the first year of my degree in 2016. I can tutor Mathematics (Grade 8 – 12, University 1st and 2nd-year level) and Statistics (University 1st and 2nd-year level). All relevant teaching/tutoring experience includes tutoring Mathematics (Grade 8 – 12) for clients of Bright Sparkz Tutors, Education Matters and SharpenUp Tutoring and Learning Support and tutoring Statistics (University 1st year level) and Mathematics (University 2nd year level) for undergraduate students of UWC.

I can tutor Mathematics (Grade 8 – 12, University 1st and 2nd-year level) and Statistics (University 1st and 2nd-year level). I take responsibility for helping students to understand different subjects. I assess, assist and encourage the students in the learning processes. I try to review materials used in classes, explain various topics and answer all doubts and questions of the student regarding that topic.

Details
I am offering my 1st lesson for free which will help build confidence, laying the groundwork for future lessons. It is also a great opportunity to get to know my student. I like going overtime to make sure my student understands the topic properly. I tutor at any time or any central location the client and I agree upon, as I have my own transport. Also, I tutor online as well through virtual platforms such as Zoom Meetings, Skype, Google Meet, etc.
