About Shlok
I’m a friendly and dedicated tutor who genuinely enjoys helping students grow in confidence and ability. I take the time to listen, understand how each student thinks, and adapt my explanations so they make sense to them personally. I still remember how satisfying it felt when a difficult concept finally “clicked” for me at school, and I try to recreate that moment for my students.

I believe every student can improve with the right support, patience and encouragement. I’ve spent the last 2 years tutoring Maths and English. During this time, I’ve worked both one-to-one and with classes, which has helped me adapt my teaching style to suit different learning needs. I focus on breaking down difficult topics, explaining concepts clearly and creating a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. Seeing students gain confidence and start to enjoy subjects they once found challenging is the most rewarding part of tutoring for me. I can teach GCSE and A-level students of all strengths and backgrounds. Lessons are an hour long but can be adjusted to suit the needs of the pupil.
