About Maureen
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have taught literally thousands of people in over 55 years of teaching experience. These people are from all walks of life and all ages. My own career started by training with two or three of the countries top elocution and public speaking teachers and gaining teaching qualifications through the New Era Academy and the London Academy of Music and Drama. In the course of my career I have dealt successfully with a wide range of vocal issues that in one way or the other are the cause of a lack of confidence in many people. I have a deep passion for my work, and a life long belief in people and their right to speak confidently and express themselves in their daily life and business. My approach is friendly, effective and always fun, and I try to make the art of learning to speak confidently a joyful process. My approach has proved very popular with children and adults, professionals and those simply seeking help in their personal life.

I swiftly had the confidence that Maureen at Vocal Integrity had the experience and expertise to help me achieve my objectives to improve my presentations and for my French colleague to soften his accent. My impression of Vocal Integrity is very positive. The value of effective communication can bring to any organisation has the potential to be great, and I will certainly be using Vocal Integrity at some point in the future.
Thank you so much for seeing my colleague yesterday, she was over the moon with the day and was singing your praises to high heaven. No more than you deserve of course. It was so kind of you to take the trouble to help her. She is a really bright woman, but gets very nervous when she has to speak to a group of people. She says that she feels much more confident now and I am sure that her presentation in Rome will be a great success thanks to your tuition. -
I have known Maureen professionally for over 20 years. An incredibly reliable and knowledgeable person, who is a leading expert and well respected in the field of speech and drama. Maureen enabled me to improve my presentation skills and increased my confidence to achieve early career success. I would strongly recommend her. -
6 weeks ago even the thought of making my wedding speech was preventing me from getting excited about my own wedding. Now after the help from Vocal Integrity I feel as though I have conquered a phobia that I have had for almost 20 years and I am not in a position where I am positively looking forward to my wedding and making my speech. Thank you very much. -
The tuition you provided was just right to ensure a successful outcome for my wedding speech and to thank you for your help. Many Thanks. –
Hi Maureen, I'm hoping you remember me! I'm Erica Davis. You used to tutor me around 20 years ago – at your house in Jeffcock Rd. I really just wanted to thank you for all you did for me. I've had an amazing life and fantastic opportunities that I think you were a part of, due to your great teaching skills and also giving me so much confidence in myself and abilities.
