About Umar Farooq
Hi! I’m Umar Farooq, an MCA graduate and Java Backend Developer with professional industry experience in Java and Spring Boot.
I currently work as a Junior Java Backend Developer and previously completed a 7-month Java Backend Development internship, where I worked on live production backend services and REST APIs. UmarFarooq_Resume
I teach Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SQL, Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, and REST API development.
My teaching style is simple and practical. Rather than asking students to memorize concepts, I focus on helping them understand why something works, how it works, and how to implement it themselves.
I can help:
- Beginners who want to learn Java from scratch
- College students learning Java and OOP
- Students preparing for DSA and coding interviews
- Students learning SQL and databases
- Students who want to start backend development with Spring Boot
- Students who want practical experience building REST APIs and backend projects
I have solved 500+ DSA problems and have strong practical experience with backend technologies including Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA, MySQL, Redis, Kafka, AWS and REST APIs. UmarFarooq_Resume
My goal is to make students confident enough to write code independently, not just understand theory.
If you are a beginner or a college student struggling with Java, DSA, SQL or backend development, I would be happy to help you build a strong foundation and progress step by step.

Hi! I’m an MCA graduate and a Java-focused programming mentor who enjoys helping beginners understand coding in a simple and practical way.
I teach Core Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SQL, Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA), and Spring Boot.
My teaching approach is focused on understanding concepts rather than memorizing them. I explain each topic step by step, use practical examples, and then help students write the code themselves. I also encourage students to ask questions and solve problems independently so they gradually become confident programmers.
I can help students who are:
- Starting Java or programming from the basics
- Learning OOP and Java Collections
- Preparing for DSA and coding interviews
- Learning SQL and databases
- Starting backend development with Spring Boot
- Looking to build practical Java/backend projects
My goal is not just to teach you code, but to help you understand why the code works and become confident enough to write it on your own.
I am comfortable teaching beginners and college students and can adapt the learning plan according to the student's current level and goal.
I also offer an initial demo session so we can understand your learning requirements and see whether my teaching style is a good fit for you.
