About Sheridan

I am a McGill University graduate with a strong academic and professional background in finance and accounting. I graduated on the Dean’s List and was awarded a scholarship to attend McGill following outstanding high school results. During my studies, I also completed an exchange semester at UCL, further broadening my academic and international experience.

Professionally, I work at a Big 4 firm and am currently a CFA candidate, which reflects my commitment to excellence and continuous learning. I have consistently achieved top grades and developed a deep understanding of my subjects.

I am passionate about helping others and making complex material easier to understand. I have tutored students at various levels, often after being recommended by professors, and I am highly motivated to support students in achieving their academic goals.

About the lesson

I am a calm, bilingual, and patient tutor who prioritizes clear and effective communication. Over the years, I have developed a wide range of teaching methods that allow me to adapt to each student’s unique learning style and needs. My approach is flexible and student-centered, ensuring that concepts are understood deeply rather than memorized.

I am highly comfortable and knowledgeable across multiple subjects, including accounting, statistics, finance, and mathematics. My strong academic background allows me to explain complex ideas in a simple and structured way.

What truly sets me apart is my empathy. I understand the challenges students face and aim to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment. I genuinely enjoy tutoring because I derive personal satisfaction from helping students improve, gain confidence, and achieve their goals.
