About Faysal
This is Faysal, a PhD student in Nonlinear Photonics at INRS , Canada. I’m here to help you shine academically!
I have more than five years of teaching experience, including roles as a Teaching Assistant at McGill University and a Lecturer at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Bangladesh. I hold master’s degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University and in Optics and Photonics from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.
My teaching experience includes Electrical and Electronic Circuits, Digital Logic, Signal Processing, Numerical Methods in Engineering, and Optics and Photonics. I offer tutoring across a wide range of electrical engineering and physics subjects.
My research background spans semiconductor devices, nonlinear photonics, photonic devices and materials, and optical biosensing. I connect theory with practical examples and explain complex topics through clear, step-by-step solutions. Each lesson is tailored to your learning pace, whether you need help understanding concepts, solving tutorial problems, or preparing for exams.

Every session is built around your course—your textbook, your professor’s slides, and your upcoming exams. I am an electrical engineering educator who enjoys making challenging topics easy to understand. I offer support with electrical engineering and physics courses, with lessons tailored to your goals and learning pace.
Before the lesson: Please send me the problems or topics you would like to discuss at least one day before our session. You can also share relevant lecture slides or textbook pages. This allows me to prepare a clear, focused, and complete lesson.
During the lesson:We work through the problems together, step by step. I explain the concepts, equations, and reasoning while writing the solutions in a PDF document shared on your screen. You can focus on understanding, ask questions, and participate without rushing to copy everything.
After the lesson: You receive the completed PDF with all the solutions and annotations from our session, making it easy to review and practice independently.
My goal is to help you build confidence, understand the fundamentals, and develop strong problem-solving skills.
