About Lucie
As a final-year Kinesiology student at McGill University, I have a strong academic background, but I also know what it’s like to struggle with tests — they’ve never come easily to me. That’s why I’m passionate about teaching in a way that focuses on truly understanding the material, not just memorizing for a test. I enjoy both studying and teaching, and because of my own experiences, I can empathize with students who find certain topics challenging. I know the importance of building confidence and tackling difficulties one step at a time. I’ll help you gain a solid understanding of the material, so you don’t just perform well on exams but feel confident in your knowledge and ability to apply it.

I focus on helping students truly understand the material, not just memorize it. Having struggled with test anxiety myself, I know how important it is to build confidence and clarity. My lessons are designed to break down concepts in a way that feels manageable and stress-free.
Typical Lesson Plan:
- Review key concepts to make sure the foundation is solid.
- Introduce new topics with clear, relatable explanations.
- Practice with examples and guided problem-solving.
- Recap and address any questions to ensure full understanding.
What Sets Me Apart:
I prioritize a patient, understanding approach that helps students build confidence, reduce anxiety, and develop a deeper understanding of the material.
Who My Lessons Are For:
I tutor middle to high school students in biology, math, chemistry, and English, focusing on long-term understanding rather than just test preparation.
