About Samarth

I'm excited to help you build confidence in math and physics, no matter where you're starting from. Learning these subjects doesn’t have to be stressful-it can be engaging and even fun when explained in a way that makes sense to you. My approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to your needs, ensuring you truly understand the material rather than just memorizing formulas. Beyond my studies as a Mechanical Engineering M.S. student at Carnegie Mellon, I’ve also had the opportunity to teach a class at MIT, giving me valuable experience in breaking down complex topics for different learning styles. Whether you're looking for help with homework, exam prep, or deeper understanding, I’ll guide you step by step, making sure you feel comfortable and confident. If you're ready to make math and physics easier and more enjoyable, I’d love to work with you.

About the lesson

As a Mechanical Engineering M.S. student at Carnegie Mellon University, I take an application-driven approach to teaching math and physics. I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation before diving into problem-solving. My lessons include visual aids, real-world engineering examples, and interactive discussions to help students understand complex topics in a practical way.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review, followed by an introduction to new concepts using clear explanations and step-by-step problem-solving. Students then practice problems with my guidance, ensuring they develop confidence in applying what they’ve learned. I tailor my teaching style to each student’s needs, making lessons engaging and easy to follow.

What sets me apart is my engineering background and experience in advanced fabrication labs, allowing me to connect theory with real-world applications. My lessons are ideal for high school to college-level students looking for support in math and physics, as well as engineering students needing help with mechanics, materials, or problem-solving techniques.
