About Elsa
I am a calm and methodical teacher who values the slow building of foundation over rapid, unstable progress. Throughout 13 years of teaching 310 students, I have focused on the technical necessities of intonation, double stops, and tone production. Navigating the requirements for ABRSM and Trinity grade exams is a specialty of mine, alongside improving rhythm and timing for orchestral playing. "Do you often find that the most difficult passages become clear once you stop rushing? I provide recorded playback of tricky passages so you can study the nuances during your home practice. This simple process allows us to address rhythm and timing issues before they become habits. Intonation and double stops receive deep attention during our time together.
