About Lipsa
I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, a Master’s in Microbiology and an MBA. Science has been at the heart of my education, and I enjoy making difficult topics simple and interesting.
I’ve also spent several years in professional roles at companies like EY, where I coordinated projects and trained and supported team members. That taught me to explain things clearly and patiently to people with different learning styles.
I’m patient, encouraging and organized. I believe every student can do well in math and science with the right explanation and enough practice. I’d be happy to start with a trial lesson so you can see if my teaching style suits your child.

I offer math and science lessons for students from middle school up to grade 10, following the Ontario curriculum.
Math: number sense, fractions and decimals, algebra, equations, geometry, measurement and graphing.
Science: biology, chemistry basics, physics basics and the scientific method.
How I teach:
I start by finding out where your child is now: what they already understand and where they get stuck.
I explain each topic step by step, using simple language and real-life examples.
Students practice with guided questions until they can solve problems on their own.
I help with homework, assignments and test preparation.
I give parents regular updates on progress.
Lessons are available online in Toronto, at a pace that suits each student. My goal is for your child to understand the subject, not just memorize it, and to feel confident in class.
