About Ivan
I am a third-year Monash chemical engineering/commerce student. I have tutored over 100+ Year 12's in chemistry and physics, accumulating over 1500+ hours of experience!
2023 student results:
-75% of chemistry students raw 40+ (top 9%)
-Mean Physics study score of raw 37 (top 20-25%)
I enjoy tutoring as I can not only improve the students' academic grades but also help uplift their mental attitude towards life whilst also providing them with assistance towards their future progressions.
In my spare time, I like to swim, run, play basketball, etc. I am a workaholic, in the sense that I am very passionate about what I choose to do and commit to, and am always trying to seek alternative methods and approaches to problems.

However, with science subjects and math it is very common for students to rote learn and just memorize. Through my lessons I aim at keying down onto concepts and analogies that will assist the student in gaining a deeper and more fruitful understanding of the content. As such they will not be memorizing but learning in a fun and easy way with minimal stress, as it should be!

Ivan is extremely kind and patient and has an extremely high level of knowledge about teaching chemistry. He always put 110% effort into everyone and went above and beyond when helping me. Could not recommend him enough as a chemistry tutor
Ivan tutored me throughout 2022 for maths and physics. He was extremely helpful in the sense that he knew his content very well and was capable of explaining them in great detail and fluency. He was also useful when it came to answering rare and difficult questions as his knowledge of the variety of questions and strategies was abundant. I would definitely recommend Ivan to students who find it diffcult understanding the content and to individuals who require assistance with tackling the hardest of questions.
I hated maths before I met Ivan, true genius when it comes to solving any problem. Can instantly figure out shortcuts, easy techniques or implement different methods of solving to get the correct answer. He naturally provides a vast variety of ways to explain how something is done so you can understand it to great depths that you can apply to other questions with the same or higher difficulties. Overall definitely recommend him, he’s a great bloke.
