More than a Native French Teacher — a Learner and a Language Lover!

I really enjoy my French classes with Anne-Laure. What I like most is that we practice a lot of conversation, always around interesting topics. For me, this is the most important part of learning a language.

I also really appreciate the grammar work, especially conjugation. My favorite classes are the ones that combine conversation and grammar, because when I try to express myself, I often realize that there are grammatical points I’m still missing. Anne-Laure is very good at identifying these difficulties and explaining them clearly.

She is a patient, knowledgeable and attentive teacher who adapts the lessons to my needs and interests. Her classes are always varied, useful and enjoyable. I highly recommend Anne-Laure to anyone who wants to improve their French!

Excellent teacher. She has a strong command of the subject and extensive experience, explaining concepts in a clear, organized, and easy-to-understand way. My classes with Anne-Laure have been phenomenal. She’s very personally and outgoing while also still super knowledgeable. I have been taking private lessons with Anne-Laure once a week for the last month and I already feel so much more confident with my French conversation. Anne-Laure uses an excellent methodology that strengthens grammar, pronunciation, comprehension, and writing skills, combined with digital solutions that make lessons easier and more efficient. I already had a foundation in French, especially in speaking, but I needed to improve my grammar, and the classes with the professor have helped me develop and refine this skill.

She is an incredible teacher. She puts so much dedication into preparing the materials and the virtual learning environment. After just one month, I already feel comfortable reading some materials. She understands exactly how fast to go at certain moments and when to focus more on others. I’m delighted — she has far exceeded my expectations! I’m definitely not letting her go anytime soon :)

Anne-Laure is organized with plenty of different sorts of material at the ready and can pivot immediately if we request a focus on something. There are two of us taking this and working around our interests and knowledge is harder than having just one person to tutor! I particularly appreciate the skills-related work on listening. I think that's one of the hardest things to learn and the concentration on that is great.

I'm very lucky to have Anne-Laure as my French teacher. She's very kind and patient with me. She has a teaching method that's tailored to my needs and follows a syllabus that progresses smoothly from one level to another without being overwhelming.
