About Finn
I am a MSc Creative Computing student in Bath who also produces and releases music.
I have created multiple video games and pieces of software for 4 years now, thanks to the University education I have received. My biggest inspirations were the documentaries Minecraft: The Story of Mojang, and Indie Game: The Movie. Perhaps you have seen these and that is what inspired you to learn game development. The same thing happened to me!
I have also been producing for 5 years now and I have gathered well over 200k streams on all of my music. I have also worked with multiple UK labels to release my music, and a remix of mine went internationally viral, especially in Asia. The genres I typically work in include: Beats (Trap & Lofi), UKG, House, and Jungle, but I am also able to create music for other purposes such as, video game soundtracks, or film & tv.

In our lessons we will go over the very basics of game design theory and how to use Unity to create your own independent video game.
We will, step-by-step, create a video game together so that you can see the ins and outs of what goes into creating a finished piece of video game software. As a Masters student in Game Design and Creative Computing I am able to supplement the learning of my students with the knowledge and experience I have managed to acquire over my 4 years of University-level games design education.
And what better way to learn games development than 1-1? Aspects of game development such as programming basics, and learning how to use Unity effectively, can be tricky even for computer-savvy people. Learning 1-1 with a tutor can make these steps a lot easier and more comfortable. So give it a go and soon you'll be on your way to creating the next indie big hit! (Hopefully :D)
