About Noxolo Felicia
I'm Noxolo Felicia Vilakazi, a physicist, educator, and founder of Uzukhanye STEM Academy. I grew up in Ntuzuma, a township in KZN, and fell in love with physics because it helped me understand how the universe works. That curiosity carried me from South Africa to Hungary, where I earned my MSc in Physics (Summa cum laude, 4.84 GPA) and published research in quantum optics and data science.
I started teaching because I know what it's like to struggle with a subject and feel like you'll never get it. I also know what it's like to have someone break it down in a way that finally makes sense. That's what I want to give my students clarity, confidence, and the belief that they can do it too.
I believe that every learner has potential, and my job is to help them unlock it. I'm patient, approachable, and committed to seeing my students grow not just in their marks, but in their love for learning.

I offer tutoring in Mathematics, Physical Sciences, and Physics for high school learners (Grade 8–12) and university students. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each student's learning style. I focus on building a strong foundation, improving problem-solving skills, and boosting confidence in subjects that often feel overwhelming.
I hold an MSc in Physics (Summa cum laude, 4.84 GPA) from the University of Pécs in Hungary and have over two years of teaching experience, including tutoring at the University of Zululand, lab demonstrating at UKZN, and running my own STEM academy. I've also published research in quantum physics and data science, which means I can help students connect what they learn in class to real-world applications.
Whether you need help catching up, preparing for exams, or stretching beyond the curriculum, I'm here to guide you every step of the way. I'm available for online or in-person lessons in Durban and surrounding areas.
