About Michelle
I'm an OCT certified teacher with a background in English and Ontario curriculum Grades 4-10. My skill set serves students with limited writing skills to modern Shakespeares. Past work and volunteer experience in diverse classroom settings have been the foundation of my professional career. Teaching both English-speaking and English language learners has equipped me to implement a breadth of teaching strategies built to support each learner.

My teaching methods include backwards planning, equitable teaching practices, and interpersonal skills. Learning is fun and while it can be challenging for many, there are so many strategies that can be implemented to reach individual learning goals. By establishing trust, responsibility, and integrity with my students, I differentiate learning experiences to serve my learners intentionally as best as I can.
