About Abby
Teaching provides a way to share what I learned during 13 years in the industry. These 13 years of active practice inform my work today.
My degree from Michigan sits at the heart of my approach. I enjoy helping singers find their rhythm. Working with neurodivergent students helps me see music differently. I prefer quiet mornings and coffee.

Singing requires a diagnostic vocal assessment to identify your specific baseline strengths and technical gaps. Because I am a Michigan music graduate, I treat this technical foundation as the most important part of our work together.
We will explore sight singing, microphone technique, head and chest voice, harmony singing, stage fear management, belting technique, warm up exercises, and performance confidence during our time. I often struggle to explain music in standard ways, so I adapt score marking and structure for ADHD, autism, and dyslexia to make the concepts stick. This creates a flexible environment where your specific way of processing information dictates how we build your vocal technique.
