About Emily
I am a Music student at Durham University and am currently preparing to start a placement year working in Music Therapy. I have particular experience in Music theory and analysis, as well as Music history and a thorough understanding of GCSE/ A-Level material. This will be my first experience of tutoring, however, have experience as a teaching assistant at a primary level.

I am currently studying Music (Single Honours) at Durham University. I am able to provide tuition at any level up to this (lower school, GCSE, A-Level, IB etc.) and have a general understanding of all current curriculums. My teaching method is largely practical, with a thorough explanation of key ideas and concepts followed by practical application of these ideas and some testing, dependent on the students learning techniques. I base my lessons on the curriculum and aims of the student, so to achieve what is wanted for my students.
