About Emma
Hello, my name is Emma and I'm currently studying Music at University. A key feature of music is communication, whether that be communicating a mood or story to an audience as a solo performer or working as part of a team in an ensemble. In our lessons, I will try to communicate as effectively as I can to facilitate your personal learning style.
When I was at school I loved learning and I found a key factor that encouraged me to learn was the enthusiasm of the teacher. As your tutor, I would love to help you to develop a passion for learning too!
I know that the prospect of taking exams can be daunting, I also felt quite apprehensive before taking mine at school (and still do at university!) but I can offer advice about how to manage that stress as well as going into each exam or assessment with an action plan.

I tend to approach each student differently to adapt to their needs and learning style. Particularly with a creative subject like music, as well as want you want to focus on, this can vary. The typical length of a lesson would be 60 minutes. I have tutored online for over a year and a half now. My lessons are for beginners, those taking school exams in music, or wanting to re-kindle their love for the subject after time away from it.
