Hello, my name is Stephan. I am happy to introduce you. During my studies of musicology in Göttingen, Hannover and Osnabrück, I have come across many different aspects of music. However, one can divide these roughly into the four areas harmonica, music history, musicethnology and musicinformatics. In the harmonica and music history, I offer insights into the classical music of Europe from the Middle Ages to the modern age. This is mainly about the topics that are needed for the school or as a preparation for the study. This means the analysis of notes and the historical classification of music into the historical context. For those who want to look beyond the musical trappings, I offer a variety of themes from the musical metaphysics. Apart from the school context, one can learn about the outside European music. Whether Indian ragas, Brazilian samba, argentian tango or Korean pansori, the themes can be as colorful as the world. Musicinformatics is aimed at all students who have a passion for music production and electronic music. In addition to the theoretical introduction to music production software such as Ableton or Max / MSP, I also offer insights into the acoustic fundamentals and the operation of music synthesizers.
