About Sigrid

I am a Howard University undergraduate student with a major in math and a minor in secondary education. I’ve wanted to be a teacher since I was in the second grade and I’m just looking for opportunities to make that come to life. I have a passion for math and children! There’s something about being frustrated with a problem and sitting with it for a moment; then coming to the solution and feeling so proud and confident in your abilities! I want other students to know that feeling too.

About the lesson

You should take lessons with me because I am able to connect with kids and teenagers fairly easily. I have a lot of patience when a child may not understand and can walk them through various different ways to get to the conclusion. I can do in-person sessions or virtual sessions, as well as having a pretty flexible schedule. I’m also very affordable in comparison to other tutors in the area!

Sigrid is patient. She loves children. She likes to have fun with them and help them at the same time. She is a college senior majoring in mathematics and Education. Even older youth and young adults trust her. She is a great listener and seeks to understand the challenge that is the barrier to learning and application of information to solve problems.
