About Andrés
I have a degree in Spanish and Literature, am a teacher of Spanish and English (EFL), and am a proofreader, editor, and writer. I love to travel, learn about other cultures and, of course, learn other languages. My second language is English, I study French, and Portuguese and recently started German classes. I love idiomatic expressions (idioms), colloquial language (slang), and comparing languages to understand their differences and similarities. I have been a high school teacher in both public and schools, a tutor at a language institute, a private tutor, an academic adviser, and a reading and writing workshop facilitator.

Andres is super eloquent and accurate in making other people understand about many topics. He has a great talent in languages, inspires confidence and is super professional. I definitely recommend him.
Conozco a Andrés de cuando estaba de vacaciones en Bogotá. Habla un inglés perfecto y me da mucha ayuda para mejorar mi español. También ha sido de gran ayuda cuando tuve problemas con mi visa para Ecuador. Es muy confiable, es comunicativo y tiene un gran conocimiento de la literatura y el idioma en general.
I met Andres through a mutual friend, several years ago and when I decided to move to Colombia, I knew I needed help with Spanish and he was fun to work with and helped me a great deal. He is a very dedicated young man and I would highly recommend him!
