About Emily
I have been teaching for 11 years! I moved to Charlotte and found a teaching job. I was a K-6 grade teacher for 9 years! I was (and still am) extremely close to both my students and their parents. Although, online, all of my lessons are hands-on and lots of fun! Lessons will have a definitive purpose while also giving students time to explore! I will always have an anticipatory set in the beginning. This will be engaging but lets students know the standards we are working on. Finally, I always include an "Exit Ticket" to the last 5 minutes to make sure mastery is being met.
