About Michael
I’m a recent high school graduate currently working as a research intern at NASA Ames, where I focus on computational biology and space life sciences. I’ve also conducted research at Weill Cornell Medicine and have experience across biology, chemistry, physics, calculus, computer science, and scientific research. Additionally, I have taken Latin and am capable of tutoring Latin I to Latin III.
Academically, I earned a 1560 SAT and 5s on AP Calculus BC, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science A, Macroeconomics, Environmental Science, English Literature, English Language. I enjoy making difficult material feel intuitive rather than just teaching students to memorize procedures. I’m patient, organized, and happy to adapt to different learning styles, whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for an exam, or pushing beyond the standard curriculum.

I tailor each lesson to the student rather than using a fixed curriculum. Sessions can focus on homework help, test preparation, SAT strategy, AP coursework, catching up on difficult concepts, or getting ahead. I’m flexible across math and science subjects and can adjust the pace, structure, and level of explanation based on what works best for each student. Lessons can be online or in person, and I’m happy to work either regularly or on an as-needed basis

Michael is an excellent choice for a tutor and I would highly recommend him to everyone. He has been tutoring me in organic chemistry, linear algebra, calculus, and SAT math and always provides an insightful explanation of complicated topics. Michael is truly gifted and high SAT and AP scores serve as a confirmation of his talents.
