About June
I’m Deaf and come from three generations of Deaf family. I’ve been signing Auslan since birth, it’s my language and a big part of who I am.
I’ve taught Auslan for over 30 years in communities, TAFE, universities and private lessons. I enjoy sharing my language, culture and real-life experiences, and helping people feel more confident communicating with Deaf people. You’re welcome to ask questions, make mistakes and learn at your own pace.

My Auslan lessons are practical, interactive and tailored to your goals and learning pace. Through everyday conversation, visual demonstrations and guided practice, I help you build confidence in signing, understanding others and connecting with Deaf culture.
As a native signer from a third-generation Deaf family, I bring lifelong experience and over 30 years of teaching Auslan in community settings, TAFE, universities and private lessons.
I welcome beginners and learners wanting to develop their existing skills. Lesson length is flexible and can be discussed to suit your needs, with sessions available online or in person around the Gold Coast.
