I really enjoy my French classes with Jojo. What I like most is that we practice a lot of conversation, always around interesting topics. For me, this is the most important part of learning a language.

I also really appreciate the grammar work, especially conjugation. My favorite classes are the ones that combine conversation and grammar, because when I try to express myself, I often realize that there are grammatical points I’m still missing. Jojo is very good at identifying these difficulties and explaining them clearly.

He is a patient, knowledgeable and attentive teacher who adapts the lessons to my needs and interests. His classes are always varied, useful and enjoyable. I highly recommend Jojo to anyone who wants to improve their French!

My classes with Jocelyn have been phenomenal. He’s very personally and outgoing while also still super knowledgeable. Jojo is organized with plenty of different sorts of material at the ready and can pivot immediately if we request a focus on something. There are two of us taking this and working around our interests and knowledge is harder than having just one person to tutor! I particularly appreciate the skills-related work on listening. Working with Jocelyn (Jojo) has been an absolute pleasure. He tailors our classes based on my wants, needs, and experience level when it comes to meeting my goal of becoming fluent in French.
