About Emily
I spent part of my childhood in Hong Kong, where I attended an international school and developed a love for languages and different cultures. Since then, I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and North America and enjoy meeting people from all over the world.
Alongside my studies, I have worked in hospitality, customer service, management and education roles, which have helped me develop excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with people from diverse backgrounds.
In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, photography, learning languages, music and discovering new cultures.

My lessons are designed to help students improve their reading, literacy, spelling and overall confidence with English. Whether you’re a young learner, a student needing extra support, or an adult looking to strengthen your English skills, my lessons will always be tailored to your individual needs and goals.
As a native British English speaker, I have experience supporting students of different ages and abilities, including learners with ADHD and autism. It’s so important to me to create a friendly, patient and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace.
Lessons can focus on reading comprehension, spelling, phonics, vocabulary development, pronunciation, grammar and written communication.
