For zero-based learners, I may use the textbook "My Chinese Classroom". After learning the first book of this textbook, you will be able to introduce yourself fluently and complete conversations in Chinese about greeting, taking a bus, ordering food, shopping and other everyday situations.
Of course, we are not limited to this textbook, we can choose other suitable textbooks, and even combine the topics that you are most interested in to learn Chinese. You will have plenty of opportunities to speak and practice Chinese in my class. You will not feel bored.
