About Joy
Hello! I’m Joy. I’m a native Chinese speaker. I'm from Taiwan and I'm living in the U.S. now. I can speak both Chinese and English fluently. I have a Master's degree in early childhood education and I have been teaching young kids for 6 years. I had been teaching in a Chinese immersion school in the U.S. for 2 years. I had learned lots of strategies to create a rich and joyful learning environment for students to explore Chinese. I'm friendly, responsible, hard-working, and open-minded. I love hearing students' feedback and adjusting my classes. I will create relaxing and meaningful classes for you!

Teaching is my passion. I would love to teach both adults and kids. As a second language learner, I know learning a new language is a challenge. I would love to discuss with you about your goal, interest, and the learning style you prefer. I will do my best to create personalized classes for you. I’m looking forward to meeting you and accompanying you on this Mandarin learning journey.

We serve together in the church. She is a very responsible Sunday school teacher. To the children, she is loving, caring, and always patient. I highly recommended her as an excellent teacher. She is dedicated to helping the students understand and learn the course materials.
