About Dequan
Hi, I'm Dequan. English and French are both my mother tongues, and I grew up and studied in Australia and France. I have taught languages since 2018 (University of Sydney, Monceau Langues in Paris) and I also work as a translator, with a Master's degree in Law, earned with excellence. I teach because I love helping people gain confidence and discover the world through a new language. Patient, rigorous and encouraging, I will help you get there at your own pace

My lessons start from you: first we pin down your level and goals, then I build a tailored plan. Each session (usually an hour, flexible) mixes revision, a new point explained simply, and plenty of speaking practice with lively materials . I teach all levels (A1 to C2), from teenagers to adults, for school, exams (Cambridge, IELTS, TOEFL) , conversation or professional English.
