About Marissa
I am a full-time working professional. Over the past 7 years I have worked in consulting, economic development, sales, and project management. Recently, I've decided to change paths and pursue teaching. I find teaching to be more rewarding and exciting. I have studied a second language myself so I know how difficult it can be! After 6 years of formal education and 1 year abroad, I understand the difference between the language you learn in school, compared to the language you need to speak in the real world. My goal is to provide you with real world speaking skills and to make learning fun in the process.
