About Rebecca

Hey, my name is Rebecca and I am an Educator, Musician and Soccer Coach! I hold my Bachelors in Music Education from Wilfrid Laurier University and my Post Graduate Certificate of Education with QTS from Cardiff Metropolitan University.

In university I had a roommate who was preparing for the IELTS working towards PR. I had so much fun helping him learn I decided it was something I wanted to continue. This experience led me to volunteer in an elementary school teaching grade one ESL learners.

My experience teaching in the classroom as well as individual settings allows me to differentiate lessons to meet the learning style of each student. I am excited to meet you and help you achieve your English goals.

About the lesson

I begin every lesson by getting acquainted with the student, understanding why they've come to Superprof, and what they're hoping to achieve through our sessions. I have experience teaching English from beginners to advanced learners. I have recently studied phonics which have been an excellent addition to my lessons propelling students learning forward at a significant rate. I'm excited to get to know you and help you take your next steps to becoming confident with you English skills!
