About Michelle
I homeschooled the twins for the last three years of their high school career, from 2017-2019. This was a great success. They both earned university passes and one achieved four distinctions.
This took much hardwork and dedication. Although there were many challenges, there was lots of fun aspects too.
At the beginning of each semester I would have a meeting with the twins and set up a plan for them to complete each subject (7) section. We would monitor their work by ticking off as a section has been completed. We used many different strategies to resolve any issues, such as youTube, various online videos, etc.
I enjoy interacting with all ages and cultures. I especially love working with children.
The success of my daughters homeschooling inspired me to consider education as a career.
Recently I completed a 120-hour TEFL certificate through TEFL South Africa.
I will use the new skills which I have learnt to assist students in fun ways to achieve success.

I am a qualified 120-hour TEFL tutor. I use the Boomerang teaching method which involves Engage, Activity 1, Study, Activity 2. I approach each topic in a fun and interactive way. I believe in routine and punctuality.
